I'm Bose, a product designer and design engineer in Lagos. For almost 5 years I've designed regulated financial products for African and cross-border markets: fiat-to-USD conversion, KYC/AML onboarding, escrow, inflation-hedged savings and on-chain trading. I take problems from requirement to production, and stay through implementation and launch.

Product design
I turn complicated money flows into products people can finish. I design straight in high fidelity, including the pending, failed and rejected states, not just the happy path.

How I work with AI
From idea to something clickable, the same day
AI is my fastest sketchbook. I use it to get ideas out of my head and in front of people as quickly as possible, then spend my time on the decisions that need taste and judgement.

Competitor teardowns, market data and app-store reviews, summarised and checked against sources before I design anything.

I generate rough options quickly, so the first review compares five ideas instead of defending one.

Prototype in code
I use Claude Code to turn designs into working prototypes, so I can validate concepts like onboarding before committing engineering time.

My case studies are built straight from Figma with Claude: pulling screens, catching copy bugs and drafting the write-up I then edit.
My story
An unusual route, and every step counted
I've always loved to draw. As a kid I was happiest making things with my hands, and even happier figuring out how to make them better. I went on to study Biochemistry Technology at Delta State University, did well, and never felt it was mine.
After graduating I knew I wanted to design, but couldn't afford to learn yet. So I worked in real estate and saved. It taught me to communicate clearly, manage my time and work with all kinds of people, skills I use every day with founders and engineers.
Everything happens for a reason. Even the detours.

Own end-to-end design for SailFish, a live exchange with $157M+ in trading volume that placed 1st at the EDU Chain Hackathon. Designed DigiCask's tokenised whiskey investment experience, which went on to raise $200K. Product designer and PM for Prepme Academy: 0 to 5,000 users in 3 months, 2nd runner-up at the Open Campus Hackathon.

Winexviv Technologies · UI/UX Designer
Consolidated 12 workflows into one Educare dashboard for 110+ schools: 60% more adoption, 10% fewer errors, 50% less overhead. Built the design system behind it, led Olukotide end to end, and rebuilt school websites for +50% traffic.

Origineum LLC, Dubai · Product Designer
Designed PiggyFi, an app for holding earnings in stable currencies, adapted for Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana; it raised $80,000+ in grants. Also designed Openland's fractional land ownership and rebuilt Zerthis ERP mobile-first for an 80% rise in adoption.

Designed a super-app that puts 15+ digital services (bills, eSIMs, foreign numbers, virtual cards, gift cards) behind one naira and dollar wallet. Most services went live within 4 months, and it has grown to 50k+ users.

Designed the merchant and creator sides of an escrowed digital marketplace: listings, delivery timers, disputes, payouts and KYC. 50k+ registered users and 125k+ products listed.

Designed a dark-mode mobile app for buying Nigerian stocks, funded by naira bank transfer or USDT and USDC, from sign-up to first trade.
