How it started

I’ve always loved to draw. I enjoyed art, DIY projects, and anything that allowed me to use my hands and creativity. I liked making things look good, but even more, I liked figuring out how to make things better. That curiosity shaped how I saw the world and how I engaged with it.

Figuring it out

When I got into university, I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I studied something I didn’t feel connected to. I did well academically, but it never felt like mine. After graduating, I asked myself what it would be like to actually pursue the things I loved.
I knew I wanted to get into design, but I didn’t have the funds. I went into real estate to support myself and save up. That experience taught me a lot, how to communicate clearly, manage my time, and collaborate with people. It wasn’t where I saw myself long term, but it helped me build the discipline I needed for what came next.

Getting into design

Once I could afford to, I began learning design. I got curious about how user experiences are shaped and why good design feels effortless. In 2022, I worked with PiggyFi, a Web3 platform that helps Africans send and receive crypto. Not long after, I joined Winexviv International Limited, working on EDUCARE, an ERP platform for schools and businesses. There, I contributed to improving the product experience for over 110 schools and more than 3,000 users. We saw increased adoption, fewer errors, and better feedback from the people using it daily.

What I’m doing now

Today, I work at Fend Group, a Web3 company with a growing suite of products. I contribute to the design and product strategy across everything we build, including SailFish, Thrustpad, DigiCask, and Prepme Academy. I currently lead the direction of Prepme Academy, a learn-to-earn platform helping students practice exams and earn rewards. It's part of the OpenCampus Incubator programme, where I’m also learning and growing as a builder.

What I care about

I care about building digital products that feel intentional, simple, and useful. I want the things I design to actually help people, whether that’s by making their work easier, their goals more achievable, or their experiences more enjoyable.

My path into design wasn’t the typical one, but every step shaped how I think and create. I’m still learning, still experimenting, and still curious, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
